My weight loss plan – which has become our weight loss plan, since Kelly intends to do just about everything I do – is on hold until I can recover from the move, which took my last penny and then some. On the bright side, I've been eating less since getting together with Kelly, and I burned what felt like a week's worth of calories during that move. We should start walking soon before we settle into a daily routine. :-\

If Kelly's on board with you, it'll be a lot easier. It can be pretty miserable when everyone around you is doing the opposite of what you're trying to do. Good luck!

Who's Got (Car) Trouble
I'm not even halfway through paying off my new car and already it's being towed to have the engine worked on, since it won't start tonight. It didn't deal well with Kelly's camping event last weekend, coming home with creaking suspension and broken power locks, and now this. I once coined a rule that you couldn't read more than three complete articles on Wikipedia without running into a reference to some obscure joke from The Simpsons, Monty Python, or most commonly, Family Guy. Seriously: I just now clicked two links and landed at Anarcho-syndicalism of all things, and sure enough, there's Holy Grail in the "trivia" section. In the meantime, stock up on healthy cheap things, like carrot sticks and hummus, tons of fruits and veggies. You won't feel bad about eating them and they will help fill you up. We've been trying to inject fruits and veggies with every meal and it helps with the energy.
