Well, this will be the last time I blog here until 9/18 or so, when I will be back from vacation. Barring a European internet cafe, or some such nonsense. (How does one get the little accent on the e? I feel like a dumdum not having it!) I know you will all miss me terribly, but these things happen form time to time! ;)

I've had it suggested I try to see Legoland, which I am led to understand is an entire miniture village made out of Legos outside of Copenhagen. I'm there!

The "situation" at work made the newspapers! Well, it was in the Gainesville newspapers, anyways! And after I was scared it would be all covered up! I won't put a link to it (that would be kind of tacky, eh?), but anyone who checks out the Gainesville Sun, and looks for references to UF professors and time card scams, would probably find it. It was actually one of the MJ Morning Show "Morons in the News" articles!! Not that many people would know about the MJ Morning Show, which is a radio show around here, but Morons in the News speaks for itself.

I just know that at least one of you will go look! It's a good article! ;) Let your curiosity guide you!

Anyhow, I'm packed, ready to go, and a little excited! It will be interesting to see other countries. I'm especially curious if there will be any kind of hoo haw about the 5th anniversary of 9/11. And I do mean both positive and negative hoo haw. I'll keep you posted!!

I also have to learn how to get pictures in here, in case I take some. Got a new camera from my wife for the trip, so we'll see how badly I can mess it up!! :)

Song of the day for today will be a song I don't know the title of, nor who sings it, but it annoys me on the radio on a daily basis, so I will just put the part of it I know up here, and everyone will scream in pain, like I am right now.

"Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?
Don't you wish your girlfriend was a freak like me?
Don't you? Don't you?"

I might have squished together two verses there, but it hurts either way! :)

I'm sure it'll win 12 grammys, I hate it that much! :(

Well, I'll talk to you all in a few weeks! Seeya!

That song is by the talentless group The Pussycat Dolls. They're almost as bad as Fergie.

Dave Barry can add "Morons in the News" to his list of great names for rock bands.

Enjoy the trip, Aaron!

29-VIII-2006 or Most-wanted polygamist?!

I just saw on CNN that we caught the polygamist who was on the FBI's most wanted list. Hmm... I should read the article to see what he did exactly. Go »

25-IV-2008(ii) or A Look Inside My Head

I've been obsessing about something I said, and I want to blog about it. Here is what I am now thinking, along with added special what's going on inside my head commentary! All italics are internal monologues/voices in my head, and regular text is the other side of my thinking process. Go »

4-VIII-2007 or Short and Sweet

I am working on a Saturday. I am not so amused. :( Anyhow, the song of the day is this annoying song that one of my co-workers has sung non-frickin' stop for the past week and a half. Go »

29-I-2008 or Clarification

Based on a certain conversation in TC, I just want to say that I am fully and totally aware of the effects of what I have written/will write in this blog could have on me in the future or sooner even. I don't care. I wasn't and I'm really still not ashamed or regretful or a word of it. Go »

23-VIII-2008 or Seen On T-shirt

This is not a great day for writing for me, as the loyal readers may or may not remember. I leave you with this phrase I saw on a t-shirt today: Life is like a jalapeno pepper. What you do today can burn your ass tomorrow. Go »

27-X-2009 or Linking For Great Justice!

This should be the link to Iceland pictures. If this doesn't work, I'll have to send the link through e-mail, which would involve getting e-mail addresses for anyone who wanted to see pictures. I think the pictures are not worth the anxiety of knowing I have your e-mail address, but we shall see... Go »
