Well, this will be the last time I blog here until 9/18 or so, when I will be back from vacation. Barring a European internet cafe, or some such nonsense. (How does one get the little accent on the e? I feel like a dumdum not having it!) I know you will all miss me terribly, but these things happen form time to time! ;)

I've had it suggested I try to see Legoland, which I am led to understand is an entire miniture village made out of Legos outside of Copenhagen. I'm there!

The "situation" at work made the newspapers! Well, it was in the Gainesville newspapers, anyways! And after I was scared it would be all covered up! I won't put a link to it (that would be kind of tacky, eh?), but anyone who checks out the Gainesville Sun, and looks for references to UF professors and time card scams, would probably find it. It was actually one of the MJ Morning Show "Morons in the News" articles!! Not that many people would know about the MJ Morning Show, which is a radio show around here, but Morons in the News speaks for itself.

I just know that at least one of you will go look! It's a good article! ;) Let your curiosity guide you!

Anyhow, I'm packed, ready to go, and a little excited! It will be interesting to see other countries. I'm especially curious if there will be any kind of hoo haw about the 5th anniversary of 9/11. And I do mean both positive and negative hoo haw. I'll keep you posted!!

I also have to learn how to get pictures in here, in case I take some. Got a new camera from my wife for the trip, so we'll see how badly I can mess it up!! :)

Song of the day for today will be a song I don't know the title of, nor who sings it, but it annoys me on the radio on a daily basis, so I will just put the part of it I know up here, and everyone will scream in pain, like I am right now.

"Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?
Don't you wish your girlfriend was a freak like me?
Don't you? Don't you?"

I might have squished together two verses there, but it hurts either way! :)

I'm sure it'll win 12 grammys, I hate it that much! :(

Well, I'll talk to you all in a few weeks! Seeya!

That song is by the talentless group The Pussycat Dolls. They're almost as bad as Fergie.

Dave Barry can add "Morons in the News" to his list of great names for rock bands.

Enjoy the trip, Aaron!

Just seeing if I can get a picture of Malachi to show up here... If this works, this is Malachi's "Get that camera out of my %^&*ing face!" look! Go »

25-IV-2007 or Ze pearl is in ze river

That's a quote from a weird movie I saw back in the day. I think it had Chevy Chase and more vertically challenged people than I can count (including the famous Billy Barty!). The details are sketchy at this point, but I believe there was a secret message to be passed to the person who gave the code phrase, "The pearl is in the river." Go »

28-IX-2006 or AGRONOMY AND SOILS CLUB BIG PEANUT SALE!!!

Latest piece of happy University of Florida related e-mail that came through. I mean, it's good that they keep us informed, but I'm not driving all the way up to Gainesville for peanuts...even if they are big peanuts! Go »

9-VIII-2006 or You never go ass to mouth!

OK, there was clearly no need for that, but I have Clerks 2 on the brain. Good movie. Not great like the original, but few sequels equal the original. Go »

31-X-2007 or Quick funny

I was at Target today working, and they were giving me crap. My co-worker thinks one of the other employees was hitting on me (she totally wasn't), and she's been telling people about how funny she thinks it is. Well, anyway, my immediate superior comes up to me, and he's patting me on the back, and he's razzing me, and he says, "C'mon, playa! Go »

8-II-2008 or No way! Not on your life!

Thanks to Lori for giving me something to laugh about today! :) Well, it's Lent again, which means I'm not eating meat today (except seafood, which is still kind of meat, which never really made much sense to me, but, hey, I'm a follower, so I do what I'm told without question...or at least without vocalizing those questions!).
