Scott Hardie: “It was ok.”

I wasn't expecting much from a high-concept Jim Carrey comedy, just a few silly gags and some clever riffs on the main premise. It delivered, and I would have been satisfied, if not for a wholly manufactured crisis in the third act where the movie forces one character to become extremely dislikable out of nowhere. It ruins the mildly amusing fun.
