Scott Hardie: “It was ok.”

Pixar's latest original film is somewhat limited by its concept: The main characters are inherently one-note, and a literal journey through the mind can only be so interesting. But as usual, the studio excels where it can, turning out some great gags about the subconscious and the mechanics of the brain, as well as sad moments depicting the abandonment of childhood innocence. It's another good Pixar film, if a minor one.

Scott Hardie: P.S. As good as Amy Poehler is, the main character Joy should have been voiced by Ellen DeGeneres. She practically IS that character. − July 12, 2015 • more by Scott

Erik Bates: “It ruled.”

Loved this movie. Clever writing. Excellent voice acting. It was a touching story, relevant to kids and adults alike.
