Samir Mehta: “It ruled.”

I'm rather surprised that this movie didn't land with audiences. It's a harrowing, well-told tale of the Algiers Motel Incident in Detroit - dark, educational, and relevant. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Scott Hardie: I had a feeling this would be good, but I deliberately avoided it anyway, because stories about miscarriages of justice by law enforcement make me intolerably angry. Everyone loved Making a Murderer on Netflix but I couldn't stand more than the three episodes I managed to watch; my fingernails were digging into my skin from clenching my fists so tightly. I will take your word for it on this one. − December 3, 2017 • more by Scott

Evie Totty: I also have a problem with those kinds of films. :/ I've missed many for the exact same reason. − December 30, 2017 • more by Evie
